Tofu is one of those foods that are so versatile. You can fry it, bake it, boil it, make it sweet, savory, or anything else you can imagine. Tofu is bland so be sure to season it well, no matter how you cook it.
- 1 package firm tofu
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 cups assorted frozen veggies of your choice
- 2 tablespoons veggie oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoons fresh chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Drain the package and carefully remove the tofu.
Using a towel, gently pat dry the tofu.
Cut the tofu into cubes.
Place the flour into a shallow bowl and gently coat the tofu.
Heat up some veggie oil and once hot, add the tofu, careful not to overload the pan.
Once the tofu becomes a golden brown colour, take it out of the pan.
To a large skillet over medium-high heat, add some veggie oil.
Once the pan is hot, add the garlic.
Saute veggies until they are soft.
Add the tofu to the veggies and mix in the soy sauce and sugar.
Cook the mixture for 3-5 minutes until all ingredients are fully coated in sauce.
